MGCF Login Request

Send Kathy and Dave an email and include:

Your name
Your bekeley.edu email address
Your PI name
Your speedtype (Our software requires speedtypes. Charstrings are okay if there is no speedtype assigned to your chartstring. However, most chartstrings have assigned speedtypes so please ask your administrator for it.)

If you are from outside the College of Chemistry, please include the name and email address of the administrator or PI who can approve the speedtype or chartstring.

Please give a brief description of what you want to do. You don't have to be too specific. We just want to know if you have a particular program in mind and/or if you are interested in modeling biological molecules, organic or organometallic systems, materials, etc.

Include some suggested meeting times over the next few days. We will create a login and set up a time for you to meet Dr. Kathy Durkin or Dr. Dave Small for introductory training. We tailor training based on your level of experience and interests. We have many users who come to us with no computational modeling experience so don't worry if you are not sure where to start.
